LawyHer Mentor in Residence Series
Inside the LawyHer Network
The LawyHer Mentor in Residence Series brings attorneys and professionals with compelling, unconventional, and impactful career paths into the LawyHer Network for candid conversations about the legal profession.
Through live virtual sessions, members gain direct access to insight that is rarely transparent or easy to find. Each conversation offers a closer look at how legal careers are actually built—beyond resumes, titles, and traditional narratives.
These sessions are designed to be practical, honest, and interactive, creating space for members to ask questions, engage directly, and walk away with clarity on their own path.
What to Expect
Each Mentor in Residence participates in a live virtual session inside the LawyHer Network, where they share:
• Their journey through law school and into their career
• Key decisions that shaped their path
• Lessons learned navigating the legal profession
• Honest reflections on challenges, pivots, and growth
Sessions are interactive, allowing members to ask questions and engage in real time.
Conversation Areas
Mentors may speak on a range of career paths and experiences, including:
• Big Law, Mid Law, and Small Firm Practice
• Public Interest, Civil Rights, and Government Work
• In-House Counsel and Corporate Law
• Entertainment, Fashion, and Sports Law
• Judicial Clerkships and Academia
• Policy, Advocacy, and Nontraditional Legal Careers
• Career Transitions and Pivoting Practice Areas
• Building a Personal Brand or Business in Law
• Navigating Identity in the Legal Profession
Call for LawyHer Members
We are opening a call for law students and recent graduates within the LawyHer Network to be part of this initiative.

• Play a more active role in the LawyHer community
This is designed for members who are curious, engaged, and intentional about building their path in the legal profession.
Why This Matters
