The Lawyher Fellows Program is a highly competitive, cohort-based fellowship designed to support aspiring law students through one of the most critical stages of the legal pipeline: preparing to apply to law school.

The program exists to ensure that future lawyers have access to the guidance, resources, and community needed to navigate the law school application process successfully. Through structured support and meaningful mentorship, the fellowship helps Fellows move through the admissions process informed, prepared, and supported.

Our Mission

Who is The
Fellowship For?

The Lawhyer Loading Fellows Program is for individuals who plan to apply to law school and are seeking comprehensive, hands-on support throughout the application journey. Fellows are typically college students, recent graduates, or non-traditional applicants who want intentional mentorship, accountability, and community as they prepare for law school.

They are also people who have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and a commitment to social justice.

Impact of the Fellowship

The Lawyer loading Fellows Program provides Fellows with sustained, practical support designed to remove barriers and strengthen each Fellow’s application and confidence.

Fellows receive:

• One-on-one mentorship with lawyers who provide individualized guidance and accountability

• Community-based support through a cohort model that connects Fellows with peers navigating the same process

• Meet a Lawyer Series, offering structured networking opportunities and exposure to attorneys across practice areas and career paths

• Six months of customized LSAT Preparation provided by LSAT Lab, combining live classroom instruction with fellows-only small group office hours and structured, intentional practice between sessions

• Full coverage of law school application costs for up to six law schools and coverage for up to 2 LSAT Exams, reducing financial barriers during the admissions process

Through this combination of mentorship, academic preparation, financial support, and community, Fellows are positioned to submit stronger applications and enter the legal profession with confidence and a lasting support network.

Application Timeline

Your Journey to Becoming a LawyHer Loading Fellow

Applications are now open and will close on October 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT. We strongly encourage you to submit early. Due to the volume of applications we receive, our team can provide limited to no technical support near the deadline, and late applications will not be accepted because of submission or technical issues.

The LawyHer Loading Fellowship is a highly competitive program, and we anticipate selecting just 4–5 Fellows for this cohort. But don’t count yourself out. We encourage every eligible applicant who believes in our mission to put forward a thoughtful application that gives us the opportunity to truly get to know you.

Following application review, selected finalists will be notified of their invitation to to interview on November 8. All applicants will receive a final decision by December 1, and the Fellowship will begin in December.

Eligibility Requirements

To Be Eligible for the LawyHer Loading Fellowship, Applicants Must:

Intend to apply to a U.S. law school during the 2027–2028 application cycle.
Be physically located in the United States for the duration of the fellowship. U.S. citizenship is not required.
Commit to studying for the LSAT at least 10 hours per week, including completing assigned coursework and preparation activities.
Participate consistently in the fellowship, including regular meetings with their assigned mentor and required program sessions.
Be prepared to begin the fellowship in December 2026 and participate for the full program period.
